THE GREAT McEWEN. Mr McEwen, the Scottisli entertainer, opens liis performance in the Town Hall to-morrow (Tuesday) evening, September K'.ih. He comes heralded with a reputation for unusual ability and humor. His wanderings by sea and land arc said to have been as diverse and as prolonged as those of the far-famed Ulysses, and like Ulysses he has not failed to turn his experience to good account. la several places during his world's tour he has been publicly proclaimed to have-been in league with Satan, and many and varied are the stories told of this weird entertainer. And yet nobody would think this were they to see the genial, showman in his every-day moments. His speciality is hypnotism and telepathic suggestion, and newspaper reports of his present tour declare that ho is a past master at his art. He will be assisted by Miss Florence Hartley, a beautiful American prima donna, who will bo heard in operatic selections, and Miss Grace Maynard (mentalist), Mr Will Bolton (artistic dancer), and Mr Cecile Long, A.L.C.M., L.L.C.M.
