MORE REFORM.
[To The Editor Stratford Post.] Sir,— Perhaps it will lie of interest to the farmer, small settler, and others who would like to take advantage ot the Advances to Settlers' Office, to know'why all their applications foi loans are turned down. Well, firstly, out of all the millions that "Reform'' has borrowed and are going to bor-
row this year, no provision is made for money for the Advances Office. Secondly, the Massey Govern men I borrowed £200,000 of the settlers' money for themselves.'Thirdly, ano this is their stylo of "Reform," thej lent, on Bill of Sale, £16,500 at 3J pei cent, to the Otahuhu Borough Council, the security being some machinery (see "Mercantile Gazette" of th< -20th of August). This money wa? taken from the Advances to Settlers Offiqe, and Otahuhu is, I understand. in Mr Massey's electorate. How ii must move Mr Massey to merrimenl when ho informs the farmers thai there is no money in the Advances to Settlers' Office!—l am, etc., C. D. SOLE.
