KTLBIRXIE SKATING RINK

[Pkii Prkss 'Association.] Wellington, September 14. The skating rink at Kilbirnie was

burned yesterday. There had been .a .carnival on Saturday night, and if is supposed that the fire which originated in the skate room was caused ' y a lighted match or cigarette being thrown on the floor. OnTv the tea room was saved. -The building was •mly erected a short time ago. Tt was insured for £,'{ooo, and the furniture etc. for £IOO. The loss above that amount is about £IBOO.
