Br Electric Telegraph—Copyright] .[United Press Association.] London, September 11.
Quadrenstein confirmed Muir's statement that the negotiations at the hotel were carried on in a melodramatic style. Gizzard produced a cigarettecase and spoke to Lockett as if he were a stranger, and asked him for a light. The prisoners took precautions at various rendezvous, with a view to discovering if detectives w#re watching them.
