FOURTEEN SYDNEY CASES
[By ELEoruio Telegraph —Copyuigut.. [C.viteu Press Association.] Sydney, September 9. Fourteen small-pox cases were reported to-day, including one from the railway deviation works at Helensville.

Wellington, September 9
The official Small-pox Bulletin issued to-night states that the District Health Officer at Auckland reports one case, a European male, in the city and one European male at Te Akau. One child has been admitted to Kaikohe Hospital, and. nineteen patients were discharged on Saturday and Sunday. Four new cases have been notified from Mangonui and one at Sandspit.
1 SUSPICIOUS CASE
Hamilton, September 10
Two men walked into Hamilton yesterday from Otahuhu, Auckland. One feeling very sick and a slight rash appering on his body, made his way to the hospital, where he is at present under observation; It is thought to be a case of smallpox. The authorities are searching the boardinghouses for his companion.
