The electricians in the office of the Public Works aro resuming on Tuesday. The laborers in the north-east shipyards have accepted an advance of one shilling.
A SPLIT IN LABOR RANKS

A meeting of the Southland Labom Council, letters were received from the Housewives Union and the Bootmakers Union withdrawing from affiliation as the outcome of a split in the local labor ranks since the Unite Congress.
