An angry controversy is proceed ing between Mr Lloyd-George anc Lord Wolraer. 'Mr Lloyd George ac euses Lord Wolmer of misrepresenting the facts of the Marconi purchases being guilty of ."moan falsehoods anc calculated lies." ' Ho continues Lord Wolmer is not particu lar about consequences, but like other calumniators, distorts mis chievous inferences from innocen facts. Lord Wolmer and family ha< been peculiarly .offensive in. negotiat ing huge contracts with the Govern mert when in office. . In common d« cency he should repudiate such'tram actions if he wanted to take a. hig line respecting the Minister's invest ments. Lord Wolmer and his fellow Cecils should begin lessons at homf He could furnish them with instance for instruction.
