AMONG, WORKHOUSE CHILDREN

Twenty r eight.. children contracted enteritis at Southwark Workhouse and 'six deaths resulted. The out break was duo to poisoning from the Borough Council's dust heaps near bj and is believed to be due to flies. (Enteritis is inflammation of tin small intestines).
