The funeral of a man named -Solan, who was killed on Saturday, was tlie occasion of a remarkable demonstration in Dublin. Two miles of mourners, numbering many thousands, cramped live miles to Glasnevin cemetery, where there were <SO,UCU people. Che-crowd en route were; excited and nervous. At one spot the cry ot '•.Police!" was raised, ami hundreds of shrieking women, many carrying babies, rushed into the shops and hotels. The procession was nearly de;erted, except for i few pall-bearers, until the pipers restored calmness by resuming a dirge.
