MR McINTOSH'S SCHEME. Times—Sydney Sun Special Cables. London, September 2. Mr Mclntosh’s scheme was warmly welcomed by the majority of tfco amateur associations in Britain, but the central council was disposed to insist that England should not co-operate with the Dominions. Lieutenant Blair, the secretary, in a personal interview said that England ought to regain her lost laurels without the assistance of the colonies. The Duke of eWstminster will submit Mr Mclntosh’s proposal to the executive on Wednesday.
