THE SCENE OF DESTRUCTION. [By Electric telegraph—Cqpyrigiu i. Untied Press Association.J (Received 9.;35 a.m.) Tokioj August 29. A typhoon in the Tokio district killed scores of people. Seventeen children who were climbing Mount Komagataka were overtaken by the storm Mid all perished. Hundreds of bridges and houses were destroyed. Fifteen hundred houses were, submerged. Railways were damaged and crops partially ruined.
