UNDER BAN OF THE POPE.
PROFESSOR BERGSON'S WORKS. [By Electric Telecraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 10.15 a.m.) Paris, August 28. The Pope has condemned Professor Bergson's Avorks as embodying false theories and as seeking to undermine fundamental, truths; hence it was necessary to unmask errors of philosophic modernism. Professor Bergson i announces ■ that he will reply to the Vatican in a series of Avinter lectures in Paris.
