AX APPEAL DISMISSED. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 9.50 a.m.) Sydney ,August 28. In the case of Brown who appealed on the •grounds of misdirection of the jury through- the wrongful admission of evidence, the appeal was dismissed.
Brown was found guilty of the murder of Sergeant Hickey, with a recoininundation to mercy on the ground that he was apparently of an eccentric state of mind.
