WEDDING BELLS.

JACKSON—WOOD. A wedding \\ hich created a considerable amount of interest was solemnised at St. Andrew’s Church at o’clock this afternoon, the parties be-

Jjig Mr Campbell Jackson, fourth son of tho late Mr Campbell Jackson, Waikato, and Miss Leauna Russell Wood, second daughter of Mrs E. Till. Both parties are well known in Stratford, and have a very wide circle of friends. The ceremony was performed by tho Rev. J. Pattison, the church being crowded. Tho bride was given away by her uncle, Mr Robert Milieu, .of Pakuranga, Auckland. She was dressed in an ivory satin gown, trim- ■ med with rich cream laCe and overdress of white ninon, the train being lined with pink silk. She wore the customary bridal veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bouquet composed of white hyacinths, white daphne and maidenhair. , The bridea- , maids were Misses Katherine Wood 4and Levyn Till (sisters' of the bride), Alice Fletcher (Auckland), and May Burmester (Stratford). They were dressed in pale pink charmeuse trimmed with real Maltese lace, and wore Tuscan hats with pale pink roses. They carried pale pink and white bouquets. Little Leanna (“Girlie”) Wood acted as flower girl. She was dressed in pale pink charmeuse trimmed with real Maltese lace, with cream lace cap._ and she carried a pretty basket of flowers. The best man was Mr Hugh Fletcher, of Auckland, nephew of tho hrideand the groomsman was Mr George Hall. After the ceremony a large number of friends attended the reception ia tho Foresters’ Hall.

The happy couple loft after the reception per motor car for an extended honeymoon, covering Napier, Wellington and the- South Island.
