THE EASY LIFE.
CAUSES RACE SUICIDE. [By Electric Telegraph —■ Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 11.45 a.m.) Sydney, August 27. Professor MacMillan-Brown has arrived from the Caroline and adjacent islands. He found the natives on the rich islands tending to extinction, having very few children, whereas on the islands where there was a hard struggle to live he found children swarming, bearing out the Professor’s conclusion that any people securing food too easily becomes sterile. The lesson for Australia was that the easy life which was the goal of Laborites and Socialists means an empty cradle.
