A CHARGE OF POISONING.
WIFE COMMITTED FOE TRIAL. XBt Electric Telegraph—Copyright j [United Press Absociati«n. ] Perth, August 15. Jano M'Clymans was committed for trial at Moora to-day on a charge of administering strychnine to her husband in an egg sandwich prepared for his lunch. She reserved her defence and was admitted to hail. The detectives' evidence 'showed that before accused was arrested she denied having got strychnine from her brother and said her husband must have poisoned some corn beef, which she cut for her breakfast, but which the cat ate and died of; also that her husband put poison in his lunch to cover his tracks. After being arrested and cautioned, accused said, "I thought that my brother Ted would blab it out if the detectives interviewed him. You see Ted has no education; that i» the worst of him. I suppose I will get ton years now, hut prison will he preferable to living with that devil of a husband. But I am absolutely innocenet. I can call plenty of witnesses to prove he threw hw pipe at me and cut my lip-"
