Eleven cases of smallpox were reported to-day, one or two of a fairly severe type. They include a Chinese oabinet-maker, the first Celestial attacked since the outbreak. There is a rather bad case of concealment at Surrey Hills. When the ambulance called for a woman patient she and her husband and child had disappeared. The Tarn worth case proved to b< chicken-pox. i Melbourne, August 22. Fiji has proclaimed Ne.v South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, anc South Australia infected States.
