The West Australian Agency states that nobody named \\ estell was connected with the pearling industry. Tunstall’s whereabouts are not known. It is supposed that he had sailed in the Orarah, but a wireless message states that no passenger of that name is aboard. Two telegrams received from Bolton state that Tunstall is dead and buried. THE OLYMPIC GAMES. Hie Westminster Gazette has given £IOOO to the Olympic Fund. GOOD AEROPLANE FLIGHT. Capt. Longcroft, of the Royal Flying Corps, with a passenger, flew from Aldershot to Montrose,.with one stop, in -160 minutes, averaging about 70 miles an hour. A CANADIAN QUARREL. ; Ottawa, August 20. Commander Roper, writing to M. Le Mieux, with reference to the latter’s Parliamentary statements regarding his report, in which the plans of Sir Y ilfrid Laurier’s administration arecriticised , states that he has no doubt that M. Le Mieux deliberately sought to misrepresent him. * Commander Roper regrets that M. Le Mieux’s charges, that the report was concocted and made with the object of getting his salary increased, were made under the shelter of Parliamentary privilege, ami that he is therefore unable to take the proper course of vindicating himself.
