To-night will sec the finale of a great series of pictures making way tor a nuge change ou Thursday evening, when the great star drama, ■ “Zaza” will be screened for the first time. 1 ids film is pronounced to be the best detective story, out-sinning the Zigoina,r series. The scenario runs as follows:—'“Zaza at home receives Caesar, a friend' of the profession, whom she asks to appear with her at the Folios Parisian nos, Theatre. Caesar is inclined to think Zaza will make a hit. She secures an engagement at a third-rate cafe near Paris, and they make a hit. She meets Hutresne, a manufacturer, who falls in Jovo with at*r. Caesar tells Zaza that he is a married man, and that same' evening she hurries to his mansion only to find the truth. Two years later Zaza goes away and becomes a brilliant star ot the theatre. Dutrosne is attracted once again, hut Zaza bravely tells him that their ways lie apart.” Ibe programme also includes tbe latest Pathe Cazette, depicting tbe world’s current topics and a bunch of scenic and comic element.
