The trial has commenced of M iliiam Parker, a surveyor, charged with wounding James lliomas Rnox, act-ing-town clerk at Footscray, with intent to murder him. Counsel for the defence pleaded’temporary insanity. Parker’s brother, when 23, went to the where' he has remained ever since. Parker was greatly worried on that day. The case is not finished.
