HIS MAJESTY'S PICTURES. To-night's change of pictures includes an up-to-date scries. The latest Warwick Chronicle depicts the latest doings in the Home Land. "How he Keeps Fit" is an interesting film of life on board a British warship. "Through South India" i§ splendid. The comic element is headed by "Macidie's Adventures" and the "Drama Women" by the Vitagraph Co., featuring Miss Leah Baird,is most gripping. Ida Middlcton marries frank Martin for spite. On the day of her marriage she repulses him, says his kisses are distasteful to her. They live in this way for months, during which Ida grows to love him, and to appreciate' the difference between him and Robert Hamilton, an old sweetheart. One evening, at a reception, Hamilton enters intoxicated and forces his attentions upon her. She struggles to free herself from his embrace, and at this moment her husband enters the room. Completely upset by this incident, she asks him to take her home. He escorts her to a taxi, and after she has entered closes the door after her and bids her good-night. Frank returns home, Ida enters and sits beside hii*i explaining that she has learned to value his love, and longs to enjoy it and give him hers. The amateur trials for comic singers will take place on Friday. One Guinea first prize, 10s 6d ■second.
