The militia now,,has control of the strike, situation at Ladysmith, Nanaimo, and other Vancouver island towns. After serious riots, the strikers beseiged the strike breakers in a tunnel for a whole night, destroyed the mine buildings, flooded the mine workings, dynamited railway bridge, and committed other outrages.
