A SUDDEN DEATH. [Pek Prtcss Association.] ,Hokitika, August 14. Daniel McFee, a very old resident of the West Coast, dropped dead in his yard at Arthurtown at noon. He was aged 78, and leaves a grown-up family.
A MAORI'S DEATH. Levin, August 15. Tahu Roera, better known as George Royal, was killed by being thrown from his horse while riding from Otaki to Muhunoa last night. DIED TN HIS BUNK. Taihape, August 15.' Robert Stevenson, 60, employed at R. W. Smith's sawmill, at Mataroa, was found dead in his bunk this morning. Ho • ■ -- 1 - been at tlio mill two' days.
