A CAMP EPISODE.
ASSAULT WITH INTENT. TWO ARRESTS MADE. [Per Press Association.] ! Gisborne, August 15. A serious case is reported from the Matawai railway camp. It is stated that a married woman was seized during the night and carried from iher tent to another ten, and kept there till morning.
At the Polico Court this morning, [Angus Lamont was remanded on a I charge of assault with intent. "Word has been received of the arrest of William O'Leary at Opotiki in connection with the affair. Another arrest is pending.
