The report of Mr Burrell, American expert, which has been tabled in the Assembly, recommends, in order to inaugurate the system of bulk-handl-ing of wheat on an economic basis, that one terminal elevator be built at Sydney, and one at Newcastle. The cost with rolling stock and belt galleries would be half a million. If twenty-five additional elevators were erected in the country, the cost would be increased by £.'500,000.
