MORE SYDNEY CASES. [By Electric Telegraph-Copyright [United Press - Association.] * Sydney^August 11.

Eight smallpox cases were reported toMay. There were two cases in one lioxtse, and a third suspect was missing until the fumigation of a stable forced him from his hiding-place amongst the straw. After a slack period vaccination is more active.

No -further cases of infectious disease'- have been reported at Port Moresby. THE OFFICIAL BULLETIN. Wellington, August 11. The following smallpox bulletin was isued ! by the neputy-chief health officer this, evening,:—-The district health officer at Auckland (T)r. Monk) reports that four eases are-reported in Auckland City from a house in a previouslyinfected area ; also one case from Parnell and another from Pbnsonby. Two further cases are reported from Waiheke. A ease is reported from Whararoa. Cases are reported from the Groat Barrier Island. The eases at Otorohanga and Pavawera,. are all improving. 1 *■'
