THE CHINESE REVOLT.
TROUBLE AT WOOSUNG. [)£ Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Pekin, August 11. Tho revolt cost the Government two millions sterling, chiefly expended in bribing rebel deserters. Four Government detachments are advancing on the Woosung forts, which are short of ammunition. War junks at Woosung attempted to desert. One escaped, but tho rebels burnt the rest.
