RUSSIA JOINS AUSTRIA.
IX OPPOSING SERVIAN DEMANDS
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8.5 a.m.) Bucharest, August 6. Russia has informed the Government that she will join Austria in opposing the Servian retention of Radovista, Katchana and Strumnitza.
BULGARIA'S PROTEST. M. Fonclier, Chief Bulgarian delegate, in an interview, stated that Bulgaria would yield Kavala under protest in consideration of the matter being finally settled by an international conference. PRISONERS IN BULGARIA.. Sofia, August 6. The Turkish prisoners in Bulgaria aggregate 100,000. LOSING PATIENCE. (Received 10.15 a.m.) Bucharest, August 6. Roumania insists upon Greece relinquishing Kavala and some of the hinterland, and on Servia relinquishing Radovista, Kotchana : and Strumnitza. If the agreement is not reached to-morrow, Roumania Will present a protoctol for immediate signature. Russian and Austrian patience is also oxliausted.
REPORT ON ATROCITIES. (Received 9.40 a.m.) London, August 6. A report from the Assistant-Bishop of Rodosto, a member of the commission of enquiry into the Turkish atrocities during the advance on Adrianople, alleges that the troops pillaged and burned Christians' liomes and shot fleeing inhabitants, while many girls were incinerated in houses to avoid capture. n-
