SYDNEY HORSE SALES.
A SLUMP IN CLYDESDALES. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Sydney, August 5. The horse sales were continued tolay. There was a slump in Clydesdales, owing to the heavy supplies. Excellent colts were sold from GOgns to 70gns. The Laird of Craigieburn, a fire-year-old, winner of the lOOgns premium, and imported from NewZealand, was bought for 375gns by Mr \V. H. Tubman, of Belfast, Christ•lnireh.
Five animals were sold on account Of Messrs Mitchell and O'Brien, ol Oamaru, for from 60gns to 1 Two, on account of Mr I*. McNanghton, of New Zealand, fetched 50gns uid 53gns. Three, on account of Freeman Bros., of Waitnate, realised Tigris to 105gns. Two, on account of Mr J. D. Mitchell, of Manaia, New Zealand, brought from GOgns to 107 gns. Throe, on account of Mr E. -'mall, of Tinwald, fetched from 56gns to 97jgns, and one, on account of Mr W. T. Tubman, 55gns.
