WHAKAIKUWHAKA BLOCK. [Per Press Association.] Wanganui, August 6. A land ballot was held to-day for nine sections in the Whakaikvtwhakn lock, comprising 8923 acres of good •hoep country about sixty miles up the Wanganui River. Two sections were taken up, the successful applicants being K. F. Joynt, section 3.. block 3, Moumalmki, 198 acres; section 4, block 3, Moumahaki, J. Tnffin, 402 acres.
