WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Kev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for variable and strong breezes, but westerly strong winds to gale prevailing. The weather will probably prove cold and .showery. The barometer has a rising tendency.
