At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night, a cable. ed from the New South Wales Association agreeing to the Wellington Centre's terms (viz., contributing £l5O towards expenses of American team's tour.) Victoria was also asked to agree to the same terms, but as no reply was received, it was resolved that a committee be appointed to await a cable re conditions in order that the American team's visit might be reconsidered. That is to say, should Victoria, not agree to the conditions, the American team's visit would fall through.
