AT HASTINGS. [p3H Plt.V9a ASSOCIATION.] Hastings, August 4. A four-roomed cottage, owned by S-obt. McFarlane and occupied by Thomas Harlen, at the corner of Princess and Albert Streets, was destroy* ed by fire on Saturday night. Owing to tin absence of a water supply, the brigade were unable to render usfiitebmc-', and nothing was saved. The insurances on the house wore £l.-10 in tlie Liverpool, London, and Globe, and on the furniture £llO in the State office.
