SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. [Per Press 'Association.] Wellington, August 4. Tho Supreme Court criminal sessions opened before His Honor Mr Jus. tico Chapman to-day. There were twenty charges against seventeen persons, including seven charges of theft against Percy Alfred Fabian. His Honour, in his charge to the Grand Jury, said ho was pleased to say their duties would be of a very simple nature. The cases were all ordinary cases, and did not indicate the presence to any marked degree of crime, although he was sorry to say there were three cases of indecency on tho list.
