A Trunk train collided witl a herd of cat tip at Parry Soilnd, anc was derailed and turned over an ein bankment. Five train men were kill ed and many injured.

The book “The Woman Thou Gavest Me,” \yas withheld from the libraries owing to a dispute between Hall Caine and the Libraries Association, the former believing that some restriction would bo placed on the circulation. The Association assured him that it was untrue. Hall Caine has accepted the explanation.

, Brand, Krnpp’s agent, gave evidence that it was his special duty to ascertain .competitors’ prices. Lebknecht’s knowledge of the affair was derived from Von Mctzer, a former chief of the Bureau, who kept a number of secret reports and warned witness that he intended to use them.
