RIOTING AMONG STRIKERS.

There was severe rioting among the strikers at Columot. The men attacked the police and when they entered a boarding house to arrest the ringleaders, the latter used hot water, pepper, household utensils, and involves, the militia using bayonets. Finally the police suppressed the disturbance. Many were injured, and scores were arrested.
