CANTERBURY MAKES PURCHASES.

Mr J. B. Reid, of Canterbury, has purchased twenty-two Southdown owes from tho Royal Stud at Sandrighani, including two from the champion pen at tho Bristol Show; also ten ewes and five rams from Ascot Park. One of the latter secured third prize at tho Windsor and Bristol shows. Mr Reid also purchased the filly Orange Pippin, by William 111., out of Field Sable, by Bend Or.
