At the Haymarkcfc on Saturday last i had a full yarding of pigs. There .vas a large attendance of buyers, and good enquiry for all classes, and prices ruling were about par with last sale. I quote slips and weaners 7s id to lbs 6d, small stores 18s tid to 21 3s, medium do. £1 7s 6d to £1 13s, sows £5 12s 6d, calves 12s 6d to lOs, mower £4 10s, milk cart £l2 10s, dough £2 12s 6d, dog cart £l2 12s, sundries at usual rates. Wo held our usual monthly sale of vool, sheepskins, hides and tallow on t'uesday, 29th inst. There was a fair ataloguo, but owing to the recent fall in values only a small attendance f buyers present, bidding was dull, nd not up to what we considered lull mrket value. We passed in most of lie wool and several lines of good kins. Sheepskins in good condition lade from sld to G',d per lb, medium •ooled olgl to 5Jd per lb, half grown vool 3d to 4d per lb, greenskins up to "d each, small salted Is 6d each, damged Is 3d each. Wool.—Good clean crutchings made p to 7d per lb, but medium lines ealiscd from old to 5 ; Jd, cross-bred xmbs wool from 7d to 8d for packages, mtted fleece, dingy GUI per lb, horse air Is Gd per lb, ox hides up to 7id er lb, yearling hides 6Jd to Gfd per calf skins, no real good lines in, aade from Gfd to 9fd per lb, rendered allow 19s to 22s Gd per cwt. Since we last reported we have done 1 largo amount of business in the pad'ock lor all kinds of stock at inreased values, more especially sheep, or which there appears to be an unatisfied demand.
