A very fair attendance was in evidence at the change of pictures last light at Bernard's, wtien the set ot ilms screened n.et with great approval. The star picture, "By Unseen Hands," is crammed with thrilling incidents, the acting and staging icing far above the average, and deleting a live detective bringing to ground a notorious hand of female .hieves, "The Death of Lucrece" is .n adaption from William Shakespeare's well-known poem, and stands out forcibly in Kinemacolor. "Friends >i the Birds," is a fine coloured eduational .film, showing the birds in .heir native haunts! The Australian interesting.- A fine ,-iew of the celebrations at the landing .;f Capt- ,Cook at Botany Bay is a eature' of"the' Gazette, the scenic and omic portion being" well catered for.
