TENNIS. DAVIS CUP. (Received 1.40 p.m.) London, July 28. McLoughlin beat Dixon B—6, 6—3, 6—2. There was beautiful weather. Dixon served with great judgment and handled McLoughlin'» service well. In the first set both volleyed magnificently, and it was a fine even game up to six all. McLoughlin won the seventh after a deuce. Dixon gavt him the set with a double fault at the finish. McLoughlin's service in the second and third sets was practically [unplayable. Although Dixon played |gamely he was weakened by his exerjtions in the first set anld the American held the whip hand. The round between Parke and Williams become an exhibition game. [Parke won 6-2, 5—7, 5—7, 6—4, 6—2. •■
