Deceased was? engaged, in road-making, and had to report .to the dynamiting of stumps. A; farmer named Cutcall, who lived tiear by, waa startled, by an explosion. Bxtshing "to, the spot he found the unfortunate man dead, his clothes being on fice and tho upper portions.of his. .body being nmtiliated. beyond recognition. It seems that the accident happened through tho heating of dynamite on a fire to make it soft. Deceased had apparently been blown about, twenty feet. He was 57 years of age, and leaves a widow and a family of eight, most of whom are grown up.
