WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Kev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows :
The indications are for variable and moderate breezes but northerly moderate to strong prevailing and freshening after about 24 hours. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather at times. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. The night will probably be very cold with frosts inland. Barometer little movement, but falling after about 24 hours.
