STRATFORD WOMAN'S LOVE
A middle-aged woamiij tall anc stout, entered the witness box at Stratford (England; Police Court tli< other day, and asked the presiding magistrate for advice on the que.-, tion of marriage. She had been living apart from her husband for ten years and for the last seven had not hear< of him. , She had now received : very acceptable offer to marry again and wanted to know what would hap pen if she accepted it.
The Clerk replied that it was a very risky thing to do, but she con hi chance it, although she would rendo; herself liable to prosecution rim bigamy. Mr H. J. Carter (chairman of lie. Bench): And they could give you !' years for it.
The Applicant: I would do it easily o long as f get the man 1 love.
