The Government, Meteorologist (Kev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows :
The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds prevailing. The weather will probably prove cold ami showery. The night will probably ho vary cold. Barometer has a rising tendency temporarily.
