At the inquest on the child .that was buried alive, the jury found that death was caused through the father of the girl, Dart, burying it, and added a rider that Dart in his excitement the fact -that the child was alive. Dart was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter.

Xo new cases have been notiried to the Health Department in Auckland to-day. Reports from the country districts are also reassuring.
