A party of members of the House of Commons were having tea with 20C guests on the terrace of the House of Coihmoils, when' a launch filled with suffragettes, approached the terrace and harangued the gathering for half-an-honr. The guests deserted the tables .and later, a police boat approaching, the suffragettes threw literature on the terrace and steamed off. A house in Birmingham was damaged by fire. A message was left stating;—“Mr Asquith is to blame for the release of Airs Pankhurst.” London, July 21.
Members of the Pharmaceutical Society are not allowed in Windsor Castle unless they have signed a declaration that they are not connected with tiie suffragettes.

A suffragette deputation to Air McKenna (Home Secretary) surprised the police and entered the precincts of the House of Commons. The police tried to eject them, and an unseemly scuffle took place in Saint Stephen’s Hall. Mr.Petherick Lawrence and two other women were arrested.
