WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Kev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : 'l'he indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds prevailing: squally at times. The weather will probably prove cold and showery. Tin night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland. Barometer rising.
