AN INVERCARGILL BLAZE

Invercargill, July 23
A five-roomed cottage at the Bluff, occupied by S. F. Gilson, was completely destroyed with its contents by fir© to-day. The outbreak originated owing to a defective fireplace. The insurances are—On the house £2OO in the Northern Union Office and on the furniture £144 in the Royal Office.
