NATIVES SUSPECTED OF
MURDER

Perth,\ July 24. The ketch Wander 11. was found abandoned at New Derby.
The owners, Macguire and Bieos, and a companion named Newman, who were engaged in a prospecting tour, are missing. It is supposed that they were murdered by natives. Their personal belongings were strewn on the decks and there were blood-stains on the hatches. A couple of heavy native sticks were found. The last entry in the log is on June 25th, and mentions that four natives were aboard.
