The Government Meteorologist (Key i). C. Bates) telegraphed this afternorm as follows :
Indications are for southerly strong winds, to gale. Bain probable and enow on high country. Heavy showers, with hail and elect, at times. The weather will probably become very cold. Barometer rising.
